FEMdesigner Hex

Hex is our powerful Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software embedded within a free solid modeler. You can import from a neutral file (STEP or IGES) from any other CAD system or create your own models then perform the analyses you need, and plot/animate the results in color contours.

Note that the inbuilt modeler is not a substitute for a more capable system, such as Alibre, and is intended mainly as a framework for detailed FEA work on solid models created by other software, just like most other FEA tools. Hence the user interface is more Ansys-like than Alibre-like.
